Erica Dixon doesn’t believe Scrappy abused Diamond

Erica Dixon and Lil Scrappy may not have ended on the best terms during the last season of “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta,” but that doesn’t mean she isn’t going to defend her ex-fiancé against other critics. Recently, Scrappy’s other famous ex-girlfriend, Diamond, claimed that he physically abused her during their tumultuous relationship. But Dixon has snow spoken out on the matter and claims that Diamond is lying.

Dixon commented on Diamond’s claims during a recent interview with HelloBeautiful.com, saying that the “Sisterhood of Hip Hop” star is lying about her past with Scrappy to gain attention for herself.

“I feel like she’s saying that because she needs a little shine and if that’s the case, why are you just now speaking about this? This was something you would never speak about at the time so why are speaking out now? Oh. you’re on a new reality show. Right ... I’m not dumb by a long shot. I get it,” Dixon said.

Dixon goes on to explain that her problems with Diamond only came about when the rapper claimed she was a better mother to Dixon’s daughter with Scrappy, Emani.

“The only thing that I had a problem with was that she said she raised my daughter. [Emani’s] mom and dad have always been there — period. I was around when he was in a relationship with her. Diamond, you and I both know how that relationship went and things that went on. I could do an interview and put so much out there, but for what? Keep it real. You don’t have to fabricate anything to make yourself look a certain way,” said Dixon.

“You get into little arguments and spats with your dude, but him just being outright abusive — I’m sorry. I was there before you and after you. Did I miss something?” Dixon added.

And Diamond isn’t the only one for whom Dixon had words. Find out what Dixon thought about her friend Mimi Faust’s sex tape after the cut. – nicholas robinson
