ChicagoQuest, a public charter school, and Open Books, a nonprofit dedicated to literacy and social programs, partnered to participate in ReadThenWrite, a hands-on introduction to literature and publishing for teens.

The ChicagoQuest sixth graders read various books, discussed them in groups, and collaborated to produce their own published work, Senseless.

The launch party and apple cider toast was held in Chicago at Open Books recently.
