tailgating in spectacular style

There’s no better way to celebrate the football season than to gather with family
and friends for a good old-fashioned tailgate party. But you can’t cruise to the
stadium in the family Pinto and expect to have fun. You must have the appropriate
car to enhance the tailgating experience. Here are ro’s top tailgating
cars for 2007. –amir shaw

2007 Chrysler Pacifica

MSRP: $24,500.

The 2007 Chrysler Pacifica was made for tailgating. With 92.7-cubicfeet
of cargo space (with the seats folded), drivers will have enough
room to load the grill, food, drinks and folding chairs. But what’s most
impressive about this SUV/wagon is the in-dash CD/DVD changer that
comes with Infinity Intermezzo surround sound. Football fans who
can’t stumble up on tickets may actually be content with watching the
game from the vehicle.

2007 Chevrolet Suburban

MSRP: $37,285.

The 2007 Chevrolet Suburban is the pre-eminent tailgating vehicle. The 19-foot super
SUV has 29-cubic-feet of cargo space behind the third-row seats. Once those seats
are folded, the cargo’s maximum capacity is an amazing 137.4-cubic-feet. The Suburban
also comes well equipped with features such as heated front- and second-row
seats, remote start and rear parking assistance.

2007 PT Cruiser

The MSRP: $25,165.

For those looking to tailgate with their significant other, the
2007 PT Cruiser provides enough space without making
an overstatement. With the seats folded, the PT Cruiser
has 62.7-cubic-feet of cargo space. The vehicle’s unique
1950s style makes it a standout.
