How did you end up in Atlanta?

I moved to Atlanta because of music, I started singing when I was six, and from there I just fell in love with it. I met this guy when I was in college who introduced me to a lot of people who were in the music industry and that’s how I got my start.

Who are some of your musical influences?

Growing up, my parents didn’t allow rap music in the house so I had a chance to witness some great music like Marvin Gaye, Sam Cook, Luther Vandross, and Micheal Jackson.

What has it been like working with super producer like Tricky Stewart?

It’s been great to be honest, I’ve learned a lot about how he operates. He’s always very focused on being the best at whatever it is that he’s doing, and being around someone like that makes you want to be a better person.

How have you adjusted to your new celebrity role?

I think that I’ve handled it pretty well. Everyday is a day of growth. It’s really a blessing and I’m really grateful to have people that appreciate my music.

What can fans expect from you album?

This album has been in the making for a year, so they can expect a lot of great material. It has a lot of relatable music because I feel like you always want to make the music that somebody out there can relate too and that was the key point to this album. As a singer, I talk about love, falling out of love and just being young and enjoying life.
