Chris Brown Tweets Rihanna; Reconciliation in the Works?

Rihanna and Chris Brown began following each other on Twitter last month, and fans and detractors of the two have been waiting with bated breath to see who would publicly tweet the other first. And this weekend, the public got their answer when Brown finally sent a tweet to Rihanna.

According to photo evidence obtained by MediaTakeOut, Brown asked Rihanna, “You got that pic I sent you?” before swiftly removing the tweet from his timeline, implying that the tweet was meant to be a private, direct message.

And while many have speculated that the two were, once again, becoming friendly, Brown’s Twitter flub proves that the two have been secretly communicating with each other for at least a little while now.

The tweet leaves much to the imagination about the specifics of the picture, but many are assuming that Brown may have sent Rihanna a sexual or nude picture of himself.

Considering that both artists have had nude photos of themselves leaked to the press over the past few years, a nude picture wouldn’t exactly be out of the question. Regardless of whether the tweet is innocent or naughty, a reconciliation between Brown and Rihanna has been seemingly in the works for months now.

Back in February, Rihanna relaxed her restraining order against Brown after his lawyer asked Rihanna to lift it due to “problems with awards shows.” The relaxed restraining order allowed the F.A.M.E. singer to have contact with her as long as he didn’t harass, annoy or molest her.

Now that the cat’s out of the bag that the two are talking again, the wait begins to see when the two will be spotted together in public. Perhaps, it will be at this weekend’s 2011 BET Awards where both artists are nominated for several awards. Only time and Twitter will tell.
