Michael Vick Racks Up Another Endorsement

Michael Vick’s dogfighting conviction terrified companies who supported him during his days as an Atlanta Falcon. Weary of potential protests from animal rights activists, many companies dropped Vick during his prison stint. And once he was released from prison and signed with the Philadelphia Eagles, Vick continued to have trouble securing major endorsements.

At one point, his only endorsement was an appearance in a low-budget commercial from a local car dealer in the Philadelphia area.

But now that Vick is winning games on the field, speaking out against dogfighting in Congress and mentoring youngsters, he has put himself in a position to be a spokesperson again. Nike re-signed him to a contract in early July and Vick recently signed his second major endorsement deal since being released from prison.

Fuse Science Inc. has decided to make Vick an official endorser of their sports nutrition vitamins and minerals.

“Fuse Science has game-changing technology and an incredible team of scientists and business leaders to bring it to market,” Vick said in statement. “I believe these products will revolutionize how athletes provide their bodies with nutrients and medicines, changing what we have come to accept as normal.” –a.r.
