Michael Jackson’s Doctor, Conrad Murray, Found Guilty!

Conrad Murray is guilty of involuntary manslaughter, as found by the seven-man, five-woman jury only moments ago.

Prosecutor David Walgren and lead defense lawyer Ed Chernoff gave closing arguments on Thursday, which culminated a super trial of six weeks of testimony, 33 witnesses for the prosecution and 16 witnesses for the defense.

Michael Jackson died on June 25, 2009, at the age of 50.

The cause of death was an overdose of the surgical anesthetic propofol, aggravated by effects of the sedative lorazepam.

Murray argued that he was innocent.
