NACME is responsible for more than $4 million in scholarships awarded annually to underrepresented minority students. Through the NACME Scholars Program, NACME provides block grants to colleges and universities that in turn, give the money to talented African American, American Indian, and Latino students enrolled in engineering programs as part of their financial aid packages. To be eligible students must enroll in an engineering program at a partner university, maintain a minimum required GPA (varying from 2.5 to 2.8), and register for NACME’s student online resume directory.
