Doctoral Student Henry Carter Writes Book, ‘Who Moved My Nuts?’ to Inspire Youth

Many people have invaluable life lessons stored within their souls but only a few decide to capture it and deposit it in a book for others to benefit from. Congratulations on your book. When did you decide to write it and how long did the process take from beginning to end?

I believe the book has been in the making for 16 years. I began to the subscribe to philosophies of Robert Greenleaf which is servant leadership. I studied the writings of Brian Tracy, John Maxwell, Les Brown, Zig Ziglar, Jim Rohn and Tony Robbins and applied their philosophies of personal developments in seminars and workshops. The Institute for Males purpose is post secondary preparation for boys and men of color. I saw boys and men who were developing academically, but was deficient in personal development. I start facilitating workshops in the areas of mindset, goal setting, drive and perseverance, networking, living a balanced and stable life and the pursuit of excellence. The common thread among these men was they all had an idea of what would make them complete, yet they did not have a road map that would help them to acquire what was necessary for the completion. Once I began writing the book, it took me two weeks to place the information in a sequential order.
