The Newest 'Hollywood Exes' Cast Member Revealed

Daphne Wayans Joining’Hollywood Exes’ Cast

As five women linked to prominent Hollywood men prepare for a second season of their reality TV program, they may very well be joined by a new cast mate. Nicole Murphy, Andrea Kelly, Mayte Garcia, Sheree Fletcher and Jessica Cansesco, better known as VH1’s “Hollywood Exes,” are reportedly being joined by Daphne Wayans, the ex-wife of Keenan Ivory Wayans. Wayans, who was married to the funnyman from 2001 to 2004, will reportedly round out the cast and was recently spotted with three of the five cast members in Hollywood where she remained coy about whether she would join the cast.”Well these are my besties, so that would make sense. Wouldn’t it?” said Wayans to paparazzi. Sense, indeed. Like several of the other ex-wives on the program, Daphne was unceremoniously let go by her husband with whom she has five children. And although they were only married for a short time, they reportedly dated for more than a decade.

Following their divorce, there were reports that the actor left her for actress Brittany Daniel, famous for portraying Kellie Pitts on BET’s “The Game.” Those reports, however, are unconfirmed even though Wayans and Daniel were obviously an item. They have since split and could make for an interesting topic of discussion on the show.

The addition of Daphne Wayans to “Hollywood Exes” should keep the peace considering that she and several of the ladies are already good friends. Let’s hope VH1 continues to cast people that actually get along for our reality TV enjoyment.
