Celebrities Who Are Democrats

After Michael Jordan famously refrained from making any political pronouncements whatsoever during his playing days, saying that “Republicans buy shoes, too,” many would have assumed that the obsessively image-conscious Air Jordan would be a conservative Republican. Not so. Jordan was recently seen hosting a Democratic fundraising gala in his home state of  North Carolina.

Last week during the Republican National Convention, rolling out published a list of celebrities who are Republicans, which contained several surprising personalities.

On the day of the Democratic National Convention, we are now listing the celebrities who are Democrats, according to the Federal Election Commission and buzzfeed.com. Some may surprise you, while most definitely won’t. 

1. George Clooney: You’d have to have been born and raised on a desert island to not know that Clooney is a Democrat and Obama’s biggest supporter, by far, in Hollywood.
