Bus driver Hughes did not press charges, and after she was removed from the bus, the police drove Lane to work.
RTA officials believe the fight occurred on September 18; Hughes has been suspended and the agency added, “RTA apologizes to our customers for this incident. A full investigation continues.”
Lane has experienced violence in the past, according to her Facebook profile. In a May posting, Lane wrote that she was trying to get “famous and rich,” and referred to “being shot and stabbed in ma face,” which “prolly messed me up from tryin to model.”
On the video, the bus driver made fun of Lane’s facial injures, he stated: “Look like somebody done sliced your face up.”
Several years ago, Lane was shot four times during a robbery. According to her Facebook profile, she has a 4-year-old daughter.
