Ex-MLB All-Star Pascual Perez Killed in Robbery

Pascual Perez Dead at 55

A former Major League Baseball star was killed today after an apparent robbery home invasion. Several Dominican news outlets report that Pascual Perez, formerly of the Atlanta Braves, the New York Yankees and the Pittsburgh Pirates, was murdered when several individuals rushed into his home. Preliminary reports state that he was struck in the head, while others say he was stabbed. A native of the country, the former pitcher was reportedly killed for his MLB pension payment. No suspects are in custody.
