Journalists and guests of Rihanna’s seven concerts in seven countries tour have quickly descended into”justifiable homicide” mode after a series of travel mishaps, the lack of sleep and food.
Rihanna’s plane includes 200 fans, journalists and Rihanna’s personnel, however, there is a “conspicuous lack of RiRi,” reports journalist Jordan Sargent.
Journalist Erika Ramirez stated that journalists haven’t seen Rihanna off-stage since the first day of the tour.

But we’re mostly sick of a lack of Rihanna. Her last appearance on the plane was brief and so tense that Popdust photographer Alex was too afraid to try for a snap. Some of us wondered if she was not the pop star we know and love but a super crabby, Rihanna-shaped ghost. We now only see her at the nightly shows.
Rihanna’s absence on the plane is particularly awful given that the tour was framed around giving journalists and fans an inside look at the $30 million-per year superstar on tour.
Instead, complaints are trickling out that the concertgoers feel duped. Adds Sargent:
“The other big issue is that it seems like the #777Tour is less about getting a glimpse into Rihanna’s touring life as it is getting people to just tweet and write about Rihanna all the time (unfurl the “MISSION ACCOMPLISHED” banner).”
