Ditch the alcohol

Happy hours and those late-night cocktails will do a number on your metabolism. Research has shown that the day after a night of drinking, is the worst on your metabolism; there is a significant dip in your metabolic rate causing your body to burn fat much slower after consuming alcoholic beverages. It’s OK to have a drink every so often, but if you are really trying to get those pounds off, you may want to give it up for a while.
