Sandy Hook Elementary School
On December 4, 2012 police took to Newtown, Connecticut after gunman Adam Lanza shot and killed 26 people, 20 children and six adults within 10 minutes at Sandy Hook elementary school. He would then turn his weapon on himself. Prior to the massacre Lanza shot and killed his mother Nancy Lanza, shooting her twice in the head while she slept.
