Trinidad James and Jamie Lidell: The Tuesday new music rundown

Another week, another great mix of new albums from across the musical spectrum.

Last week’s rundown featured a ton of indie rock releases and some releases from veteran rock and soul acts. While the brainier side of guitar bands are again represented this week; there are quite a few of interesting, slightly left-of-center R&B releases. There’s a concept album about surviving in an urban wasteland, and a sub-Justin Timberlake return to the classic sound of Jam and Lewis.

Oh, and the 2012 mixtape from that Trinidad James guy gets a physical release.
