Was Google nose just an April Fools’ joke?

Google  a big conversation online with an announcement about Google NoseBETA which is reported to bring scent smelling to your world wide web search. While many in the tech space are saying that the concept is being worked on, it looks like Google just updated their usual April Fool’s joke.

Teasing the public with “Wet Dog” and “New Car” smells, and a very professional video announcement just the day before the big day, it’s easy to hear the news and think nothing of it.  Once you navigate the actual site, you’ll see just how real it is.
