Matt Kemp gives fan his shirt, baseball cap and shoes

L.A. Dodger, Matt Kemp is garnering praise today for a kind gesture he gave to a fan. Youtube-er Tommy Scholtz recently posted a video of his disabled friend at a L.A. Dodgers baseball game being greeted by Matt Kemp.

In the video Kemp is seen autographing a baseball for the fan before literally handed him the shirt on his back and his cleats. Fans are also heard applauding in the background.


“Matt Kemp is such a great person. He came over after the game and made one of my best friend’s night,” said Scholtz in a description of the video.
“He’s [his friend] fighting a tough battle and this was such a [sic] great gift by Matt Kemp! I’ll never forget this.”
