Part disco, part pop, part funk, part rock–Chic was a powerhouse band and this late 70s gem showcases the genius of Nile Rodgers and Bernard Edwards in full flight. Building on the promise of their debut album, the songwriting and production talents of Rodgers and Edwards are much stronger here:  with classics like “Le Freak” and “I Want Your Love” becoming anthems of the Studio 54 era.
