The soul singer’s American debut came after years of releasing pop albums in Europe and South America as a youngster, and it was well worth the wait.  Capable of churning out pulsating funk and gritty, passionate soul, Costa released one of the early 2000s most accomplished R&B albums and should’ve become one of the decade’s brightest stars. Despite critical acclaim, the infectious “Like A Feather” was the closest the album had to a hit single.
