Fun in Las Vegas on a budget

Gambling? From talking to local players who earn their living at the casinos there are many tricks of the trade as to where to go. If you’re an inexperience gambler and just want to have fun, a smaller less known casino is the place to go. Dealers at less crowded casinos will take more time to help you out in explaining the game and giving you tips. If you’re a more experienced player and are looking for a challenge doing the more popular casinos are where to go. I was told that most players who play well including the locals will play at well-known casinos, such as Planet Hollywood, to “take donations (money) from tourists who don’t know what they’re doing.” So if you aren’t sure you are a good player, the smaller casinos are best for you.

Food and entertainment is a must in Las Vegas. Neither has to be done at full price (or even for a price for that matter). There are coupon booklets that you can buy but most of those coupons are already in the free hotel magazines, so why waste the money. Online you can look up many printable coupons. Restaurant.com is a great way to go and has numerous high-end restaurant gift certificates at a discount price. Also travelvegas.com and lasvegasadvisor.com can direct you and give advice and coupons for anything you’re interested in including hotels. Entertainment and shows can be found at a discounted rate and some are free. There is a live free outdoor show at Treasure Island Hotel at the strip entrance and The Bellagio fountains are a beautiful sight to see. Most casinos also provide entertainment throughout the day, such as The Quad that has impersonators at the blackjack tables for everyone to enjoy.

A Las Vegas trip can be a great time, these trick of the trade can help you make sure you’ll be able to have fun and still make it home with money to spare!
