Three teenagers in Oklahoma have been charged with the murder of a 22-year-old baseball player from Australia. According to reports, three 17 year-olds were sitting on a porch when they saw Christopher Lane jogging.
They decided to follow Lane while driving a car and shot him in the back with a .22 revolver. The teens drove away after firing the shot. Once the boys were apprehended by authorities, they told police that they shot Lane for the “fun of it” and because they were “bored.”
Lane, originally from Melbourne, Australia, was attending East Central University on a baseball scholarship.
The teens have been charged with first degree murder.
