Julie Harris dead
A famed Broadway star has passed away. Reps for Julie Harris have confirmed that she died Saturday in her West Chatham, Mass. home of congestive heart failure.
During her 60 years on Broadway, she was awarded five Tony Awards for best actress in a play and a lifetime achievement award in 2002.
Harris garnered widespread praise for her roles as Sally Bowles in I Am a Camera and Emily Dickinson in The Belle of Amherst.
She was 87-years-old.
