No one wins Powerball, jackpot grows to $400 million

Since no one hit the $317 million Powerball jackpot in Saturday’s drawing, the pot has grown even larger. Wednesday’s drawing is an estimated $400 million or a $223.6 million cash-option value.

On Aug. 7, three winning tickets were sold for a Powerball prize of $448 million, the fourth largest U.S. lottery jackpot ever – two in New Jersey and one in Minnesota.

Saturday’s winning numbers were 1-17-25-37-44 and the Powerball: 20. The Powerball game is played in 43 states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Island.
