Mayte’s Adoption Is Approved
After several months of waiting, Mayte finally goes to court for her final hearing on Gia’s adoption. The Superior Court judge rules that Gia is officially Mayte’s daughter and as they walk out of the courtroom and head home, Mayte happily claims that her dream has come true.
