La Crystal King-Woolfork, 28, of Gifford, Fla. was arrested on Sep. 27 for an altercation with her boyfriend. When she returned to their Vero Beach home, according to him, “drunk and demanding sex,” she grabbed a large filet knife when he refused. He couldn’t get out of bed before she stabbed him in the eye and he suffered a four inch laceration to his right shoulder and small cut to his head. Fortunately, he was able to disarm her before any more damage was done.
When the Indian River County Police questioned King-Woolfork, she explained she’d been to the Shake Your Booty Club located on the 2500 block of 43rd Street in Gifford. She returned home with another female and they performed sex acts on each other while he watched. When she asked him to join, he refused. The woman left and she only grabbed the knife because she knew he’d be angry and they have a history of violence in their relationship. She asked him if he was angry, he told her “no.”
As they struggled for the knife, he stomped King-Woolfork’s head several times, according to the police report. She hit him on the head with her cell phone. King-Woolfork, who’s facing attempted murder charges, denies stabbing him and says she hit him with a metal candle holder. –yvette caslin
