Young Money/Cash Money artist Drake has struck platinum for the third consecutive time as his latest release, “Nothing Was the Same” has been certified by the RIAA to reach over a million in sales in just under two months of release.

NTWS hit the shelves on September 24 and sold 658,000 copies in the first week despite leaking to the internet about a week in advance.

Seems to be a rare feat these days as Jay Z’s “Magna Carta Holy Grail” is the only other rap album released in 2013 to go platinum.
