Toya Wright to advocate for better treatment of inmates after her arrest experience

toya 2Toya Wright was thoroughly traumatized by her arrest and experience in jail in suburban Atlanta the other night, vehemently proclaiming that she will never return because of the horrid treatment of the inmates.

While refusing to divulge any details, she succinctly summarized that the people she saw incarcerated were treated “inhumanely.”

“I wouldn’t wish jail time for my worst enemy,” Toya says, adding, “What I witnessed was so bad that I don’t even want to leave the house right now.”

The former star of “Tiny & Toya” reality show says she’s even considering turning the experience into a positive by working as an “advocate of better treatment for prisoners.”

Wright is still reeling, so she decided to pour out the contents of her soul in a revealing open letter to her fans:

Wow!!! It’s true I was jailed due to a old ticket that I thought I had taken care of but it was not. I try my best to take care of that sort of thing quickly but some how the ticket slipped through the cracks. I spent a day in jail and I must say that this experience was one of the most devastating of my life. I wouldn’t wish jail time for my worse enemy. Everyone that gets locked up isn’t a danger to the community. Many people that are in jail are just like me for a ticket that was either forgotten or thought to be taken care of. But the way most are treated is inhumane. I never thought in a million years that the kind of things I’ve witnessed went on. The situation was so bad that I don’t even want to leave out the house. After my ordeal I am seriously contemplating being an advocate of better treatment for prisoners. Please believe I’m working on my lightening up my lead foot and if I do mess up and get another ticket, that day it will be taken care of.

The worst part of the ordeal, of course, was the fact that Wright had to spend the night in jail on her husband Memphitz’s birthday, most likely sending serious shockwaves throughout her household.

After being transported from one jail to another for a freaking traffic ticket. I met some cool and helpful cops at College park Jail. Thank you guys for being so sweet and helpful to me … What a way to celebrate my hubby’s bday.

At least Toya had the foresight to post this message to Memphitz before she taken away in cuffs:

“Happy Birthday to a person that is not only my husband, but my best friend too …to the best husband in the world. I feel so blessed to have found true love in your arms. I feel so proud to call you my husband. May you be blessed with all that you have ever dreamt of today and always. I love you @billiondollarboybizz#mysag #love #TheWrights”

Guess what idiot??? When you do stupid stuff, you have no damn rights! Now you want people who have clearly broken the law to be treated as if they were out on bail?? Gimmee a break, becasue you SURE DON’T DESERVE IT!!! AND NO SWEETIE MOST people in jail are NOT in there becasue they simply forgot ot take care of a ticket? Once you get it, pay IT END OF STORY!!!! Always trying to be relevant.

Is this supposed to be her version of “Letter From a Birmingham Jail”? You broke the law, ignored the court orders, got caught and spent a few hours on lockdown. What’s next – is she’s gonna be comparing her “ordeal” to Nelson Mandela… SMH
