Model Tyson Beckford’s nephew, Dominic Whilby, 22, is accused of causing a crash in New York that instantly killed a bus driver. He allegedly stole 18 Rabbit Granola Co.’s delivery truck after partying at 1-OAK New York. Whilby was reportedly thrown out of the industry hot spot for being too touch-feely with a female fashion week partier.

After wondering aimlessly along 16th Street for a couple hours, he took advantage of an opportunity. A driver, who was making his delivery rounds, left the keys in the ignition so Whilby stole the truck.

According to reports, Whilby crashed the delivery truck into an MTA bus on 7th Ave. and 14th Street around 5:30 a.m., killing driver William Pena, 50, a married father of a teenaged daughter. Four people – a scooter driver, a food cart vendor and customer, and a passenger were also injured – when he ran the red light. Whilby, who refused a Breathalyzer, is being treated at Bellevue Hospital. Charges have not been filed at the time of this writing.
