Things between NeNe Leakes and Cynthia Bailey have been going downhill ever since Bailey’s husband, Peter Thomas, confronted Leakes about the Saving Our Daughter’s speech fiasco last week. On last night’s episode, things hadn’t gotten much better between Leakes and Thomas, and Bailey definitely took a moment to share her opinion on the matter and called out Leakes for being a bad friend.
The drama all began towards the beginning of the episode when Leakes and Bailey shared a segment in which they both shared their sides of the story about the charity event beef. Bailey claimed that she regretted pressuring Leakes to go to the event and that she wished Thomas wouldn’t have confronted Leakes about her bad behavior.
Leakes also wished Thomas hadn’t confronted her, but she took a shadier approach to her comments and claimed that Thomas was showing “b—- a–ness” for involving himself in her business and arguing with a woman.
Well, Bailey didn’t take too kindly to Leakes’ “b—-” comment and blasted her on Twitter for betraying their friendship.
“FRIENDS don’t call each other out of their name when they have issues. #respectworksbothways #b—-?” Bailey wrote.
Last week, Bailey addressed the rising drama on her Bravo blog and strongly hinted that her friendship with Leakes is indeed in turmoil over the things Leakes has been saying on camera.
“I thought it was very offensive for NeNe to say that none of the women at the event were on her level. Those words spoke volumes, and I kept wondering as her friend if I was included. I am hurt if this is how she feels, but if this is her truth, I have no choice but to accept it,” Bailey wrote.
Meanwhile, Leakes took another jab on camera last week when she told the hosts of “The View” that she’s no longer friends with any of her cast mates.
Unless these two ladies have a (private) heart to heart, it looks like their friendship is going to bite the dust like so many other reality TV friendships before it. Check out some other reality TV friendship breakups below. – nicholas robinson
