Police are reporting that  at least three boys ages 12 to 14 caused terror as they went through New York’s Central Park. Armed only with a stick and their fists they assaulted individuals for high-end electronic items such as iPods and iPads. The first victim reported that the boys confronted him with a stick demanding money. When he said no, they punched him in the face and fled deeper into the park.  The group of young punks then assaulted two women, stealing their iPod and iPad.

The police were able to catch one of the young boys inside the park. A short time later, two other suspects turned themselves over to police. No weapons were recovered from the assaults and the identity of the young boys are being withheld because of their age.
