Brittish Williams talks hair and beauty essentials

“Basketball Wives L.A.” newbie Brittish Williams is more than meets the eye. The St. Louis native, who’s betrothed to baller Lorenzo Gordon, is no doubt a spitfire who’s unabashed about speaking her mind, but she’s also an educated woman delving into the beauty business.

What is your skin care routine?

I get a facial every three weeks, I use PCA products. It rebalances everything when it comes to using it at night and I use an SPF in the daytime. I also cover my face in ice before I use a moisturizer because it closes your pores and you’re able to have it really melt into your skin. I go to the dermatologist every three months because I have eczema.  I have a little bit on my legs and my arms.

What are your makeup essentials?

MAC lip moisturizer is my No. 1 go-to; I wear it all day. MAC Lip Glass is terrible, as we all know it’s way too sticky so I use their moisturizer and it keeps your lips moist. I also wear NARS bronzer in Phenom. I’m usually not overly made up, my makeup artist is really good and she’s really into natural makeup.

What do you have to say about the criticism about your hair?

I laugh because people say I wear pack [non-virgin] hair and I’ve been wearing Malaysian hair since I was 17. Malaysian hair is my favorite hair. The hairstylist that I was using, which is a celebrity hairstylist, not somebody working in the kitchen, just didn’t do a good job on my hair and I trusted him to do my hair because he does everybody else. I now go to Maisha Oliver, she does Lauren London’s and Keri Hilson’s hair so she’s really good. I really like Malaysian hair because it mixes with my hair better, and then it allows you to color and cut it and reuse it. I usually can use the hair for about a year.

Are you natural?

I am natural; I haven’t had a relaxer in 10 years. My real hair is down to the middle of my back.

Talk about your upcoming hair extensions line.

We’re going to offer all different types of hair; Malaysian, Brazilian and Indian. It’s really affordable, it’s really good hair. You can dye it, cut it, do whatever to it and it lasts forever. It comes directly from the actual people, so it’s going to be all natural. I really want to put my stamp on it, and next season I’ll make sure that I don’t have any slipups with my tracks showing. I’ll make sure that my hairstylist is on point! [Laughs]
