Porsha Williams denies she and other ‘RHOA’ cast members have been fired

Over the last few days, rumors have been flying that several stars from “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” including NeNe Leakes, Cynthia Bailey and Porsha Williams, were fired from the show. However, Williams recently opened up about the upcoming seventh season of the show and claimed that the fate of the cast is still up in the air.

During a recent interview on “The Rickey Smiley Morning Show,” Williams addressed the rumors that she was fired from the show for attacking Kenya Moore and Williams explains that she’s hoping producers will give her another contract for next season.

“I certainly hope so,” she replied when asked if she’d like to remain on the show.

According to reports surrounding the cast, each member is offered a one-season contract every year and when the season is up, it’s up to producers to decide if they want to offer each cast mate another contract or not.

As far as Williams knows, nobody on the cast has been given a new contract yet.

“We just got finished the reunion, so normally they try to wait a couple of weeks before we start filming again before they let everybody know,” Williams explained.

Similar reports also claimed that Leakes was fired from the show after giving producers outrageous demands about money and with whom she will and will not film. However, RumorFix claims that sources close to the show are saying that Leakes isn’t going anywhere anytime soon and that fans should definitely expect to see her come back to the show next year.

We don’t doubt that Leakes will be back if she wants to come back, and something tells us that most of the cast will come back as well. However, we do hope that the rumor is true that Sheree Whitfield is coming back to the show as well. But we’ll all just have to wait and see. – nicholas robinson
