Cape York Peninsula sits at the northern tip of Australia and serves as one of its visual crown jewels. Mainly inhabited by aboriginal tribes, the peninsula is considered one of the largest undeveloped places in the world.  To obtain some of the best shots, you may have to travel by helicopter, since many of the roads are unpaved and often impassable during rainy season.
