After a single listen to Chicago based singer Jeremih’s new mixtape, N.O.M.A. (Not On My Album), only one phrase comes to mind: Turn Up!
This seven song offering from the “Birthday Sex” singer is strictly pre-club hype music. With the exception of the lone mellow track, “4 The Freaks”, this mixtape is filled to the brim with high energy sing-a-long songs that will start your weekend nights off right. Triple Six Mafia leader Juicy J and DJ Khaled are the only guests on the EP, but Jeremih more than holds his own throughout the collection.
Though it may not win over any perspective new fans, N.O.M.A. is a solid effort from Jeremih that should keep his die-hard fans satisfied until he finishes his next full length album Late Nights, which is scheduled to drop Sept. 30.
Standout tracks include “Can’t Go No Mo” featuring Juicy J, “4 The Freaks”, and “What I Like”.
