Is Nick Cannon to blame for Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa’s divorce?

"America's Got Talent" Season 9 Pre Show Red Carpet Event

All seemed fine in Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa’s marriage up until yesterday when it was revealed that Rose was filing for divorce from the rapper after only a year together. Initially, rumor had it that Rose was accusing Khalifa of cheating on her, and now reports claim that both stars are pointing the finger at each other when it comes to infidelity claims.

As previously reported, Rose filed divorce papers Wednesday and is seeking spousal support and full custody of their son, Sebastian.

According to TMZ, sources say that Rose has been suspicious that Khalifa is cheating on her ever since he went on tour back in July. Rose repeatedly asked him if she could join him on the road, but he’s refused every time, saying that she should stay at home with their child instead.

Sources also claim that Khalifa tried to show his dominance in the relationship by saying that he’s the breadwinner and that Rose needed to stop nagging him.

However, other sources claim that Khalifa is accusing Rose of cheating on him with Nick Cannon, who was recently revealed to be helping her relaunch her TV career.

But sources close to Cannon, who recently split from his own wife, Mariah Carey, is vehemently denying he had anything to do with Rose and Wiz’s split. Cannon says he only learned about the couple’s marital problems from her lawyers last week when he revealed that he’d signed her on as a client.

Well, Cannon may not be at the center of their divorce, but considering the close timing between his divorce and Rose’s, it’s easy to see how believable it is that Rose cheated with him. However, only time will reveal whether the rumor is real or not. – nicholas robinson
