French Montana calls Khloe his ‘baby’ but denies ever dating Trina?

French Montana and Khloe Kardashian put the brakes on their highly-publicized relationship back in September; but according to the hip-hop star, there is no bad blood and there could still be a chance for reconciliation between them. During an appearance on “The Wendy Williams Show,” French was asked about his former girlfriend, and he made it clear that she’s still got a hold on his heart.

The rapper stated that he and Kardashian are in a “special zone right now.”

“She’s going to be my baby forever,” said French.

But those pesky Trina rumors never seemed to go away. Throughout 2013, Montana was rumored to be “gettin’ it in” with the Miami rapstress, despite the fact that both frequently denied that they were together. Trina and Montana were photographed often and were reportedly flying cross country to be with each other on a regular basis, but when Williams asked Montana about Trina, he maintained that there was no relationship between them.

“Honestly, I was never a couple with Trina. I was just going through my divorce so I was just having fun with life,” he said. “I wasn’t in a mental space [to be in a relationship]. I can’t claim nobody after I was just going through a divorce.”

Last fall, Trina went on record, denying that she and Montana were together.

“I’m not a couple with nobody,” she told Mara The Socialite back in 2013. “French Montana is an amazing person; he’s a great person, he’s been a great inspiration to me since he came into my life as far as working, business, career. He showed me some different things that honestly, I didn’t really get the last couple of years of my career. I was at a very pivotal moment, like a very bad space and him being a guy, he’s not a guy that listens to Trina music, you know. So for me to go into the studio to work with him, to do a record for him, and he’s like really putting out something new, and I’m like, ‘ummm, I don’t know. I’m just not really motivated right now.’ And he was like, ‘I don’t understand what that means.’ And then one of my girls was like, ‘play him your new stuff.’ And I was like, ‘no, no, no, no.’ And he begged me, and I did, and he was impressed.

It was just a different type of chemistry, and once I played it, he was like, ‘yo, you need to put this out now.’ It gave me like a different sense of reassurance, and I like that about him. He’s a very positive person, he’s a great, fun person to be around, and that’s what I love about him. I guess when people see you with somebody, they automatically think that you’re together. If we were together, if we become together, I think you guys would know.”
