Halle Berry tells Gabriel Aubry to get a job
It seems like just yesterday that model Gabriel Aubry and Halle Berry entered into a never ending custody battle. While Aubry may have come out on top in 2012 when Berry was ordered to pay thousands in child support, Berry is dragging Aubry back into court, claiming that the 39-year-old has been living off of Berry’s wages and hasn’t sought modeling employment in months.
According to TMZ, Berry is attempting to cut Aubry’s child support by more than 400 percent. “Halle is trying to reduce Gabriel’s child support for 6-year-old Nahla from $16,00o a month to around $3,800 a month.”
And while Aubry continues to refer to the 2012 Thanksgiving beat down he received as the reason behind his unemployment, photos taken just six weeks after the brawl with Berry’s husband, Olivier Martinez, show barely a sign of injury.
In the documents filed by Berry, the Revlon spokeswoman attacks Aubry’s parenting skills saying “There is no case, no law, no logic that says a healthy, active man gets to simply live off child support that the wealthier mother earns.”
She continued by going as far to say that Aubry uses monthly child support for his own needs, including:
$740 a month for Gabriel’s “Fitness”
$940 a month in clothing (Gabriel lists Nahla’s clothing expenses separately — $675 a month)
$700 a month for Gabriel’s health insurance
$1,975 a month in car expenses
$1,100 a month in furniture and electronics
Berry splits custody with Aubry 50-50 and plans to convince a judge that during her time with daughter Nahla, Aubry should have to get off his butt and get a job.
From the sound of Berry’s claims, Aubry may see a drastic change in lifestyle. Where is his agent? – ruthie hawkins/@ruubabie
