Lil Wayne wants out of Cash Money: Is this Young Money’s downfall?

Tyga-x-Nicki-Minaj-x-Drake

In Tyga‘s latest interview with Vibe, he revealed the truth behind Young Money’s camaraderie, and didn’t hold back in the slightest when speaking on his relationship with Drake and Nicki Minaj:

I don’t like Drake as a person. He’s just fake to me … We were forced together and it was kinda like we were forcing relationships together. It is what it is … I think being signed to Young Money, everybody felt like they had to force a relationship ‘cause Wayne put us together. At the end of the day the reason why I signed to Young Money is because of Wayne. Not because of Drake, not because of Nicki. It was because of Wayne and my relationship with him. I try to be cool with everybody, but sometimes, everybody just has different personalities, motives, and different characters. When you realize that, you realize that’s not a place where you want to continue to grow.

Late 2012, Tyga also faced a $16,000 lawsuit for not paying his accountant back after using his credit card for touring expenses, which raised the question of why he turned to his accountant before his label. Tyga has never been shy about his label’s lack of support, but it appears that the line has been drawn in the sand.
