Kandi confronts Mama Joyce about her home
When Kandi and Todd show up for a cookout at Aunt Nora’s, Nora and Kandi’s cousin, Weenie, are upset to hear that Kandi and Joyce aren’t talking to each other because of how Joyce’s boyfriend damaged Kandi’s second home. So Nora and Weenie get Kandi and Joyce into a room to talk things out. Kandi complains to Joyce about what her boyfriend has done, as well as a nasty text message that Joyce sent her about it. However, Joyce replies that she’s taking pills to keep herself from having an aneurysm and that she’s tired of arguing about the house. Kandi agrees to stop fighting, but Todd thinks Kandi is, once again, being soft with her mom.
