Claudia Jordan definitely came under fire this weekend when “Real Housewives of Atlanta” fans spotted her cozying up with Kordell Stewart during Sunday night’s episode. But although it seemed like Jordan and Stewart were getting a little too close for comfort, she recently denied that any romance has occurred between her and Stewart.
As fans of the show will remember, Jordan and Porsha Williams have had a rocky relationship all season, so it wasn’t surprising when fans had a strong reaction to seeing Jordan and Stewart flirt with each other at the opening of his and Peter Thomas’ new sports bar, Sports One.
However, in her latest Bravo blog post, Jordan explained that long platonic history between her and Stewart, whom she met because of her numerous sports jobs, and claimed that she had no interest in dating Stewart or stirring the pot with Williams.
“So when folks on social media were getting angry for ‘going after’ another woman’s ex, I had to laugh! NEWSFLASH: We are all someone’s ex! And it’s not like I was chopping it up with a married man or anything tacky like that. Kordell is a friend, and that is that. Besides, if you have been watching how I move on this show, I have tried to play nice with all the ladies on this show until they have shunned or disrespected me. So being new to this group, I’m not going to intentionally do anything to create more animosity than there already is. Real talk. I need my days to be less stressful, not more!” Jordan said.
Jordan then blasted “Team Beast” and their fans and claimed that double standards are at play when it comes to the judgment over her taking a selfie with Stewart.
“Taking a selfie is not sexual activity or inappropriate behavior. Be clear — my mother did a great job of teaching me the difference between right and wrong. But once again, the double standards of right and wrong in this group never cease to amaze me! Selfie versus side piecing? Umm, I’ll take a million selfies before I go out like that!” she said.
And that’s not all she had to say. Read the rest of her comments about Stewart after the cut.
