ISIS conducts mass beheading of Coptic Christians

The Coptic Church of Egypt is the oldest Christian denomination in the Middle East. Followers are a persecuted minority in Egypt and now they have been targeted by the Islamic terrorist group ISIS.

On Sunday, video was released that showed a horrific mass beheading of at least 21 Coptic Christians who worked as day laborers in Libya. All the prisoners were dressed in bright orange jumpsuits and are seen being marched to a beach on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea .The video is titled “A message signed with blood to the nation of the cross.”

A militant then speaks in English

”All crusaders: safety for you will be only wishes, especially if you are fighting us all together. Therefore we will fight you all together. The sea you have hidden Sheikh Osama Bin Laden’s body in, we swear to Allah we will mix it with your blood.”

The men are then laid face-down and simultaneously beheaded. The group says they will next ”Conquer Rome, the seat of all Catholicism.”
