Angie Stone arrested for aggravated assault

Singer Angie Stone, 53, has reportedly been arrested for aggravated assault and booked into the DeKalb County Jail. Stone and her daughter, Diamond, 30, were involved in a fight in Lithonia, Georgia, a metro Atlanta suburb. Diamond Stone punched her mother in the face, reportedly multiple times, with “closed fists.” Stone reportedly reacted by picking up a metal stand and hitting her daughter in the face, knocking out her front teeth.

The altercation started because Stone asked her daughter Diamond to clean up after her kids and “get her children since they were running around the house half naked.” She also asked Diamond to leave.

A family friend, Blondy Chisolm, broke up the fight.

After questioning, Diamond was released with no charges, and her mother was charged with aggravated assault. Stone, née Angela Brown, was charged with domestic aggravated assault.

OMG! What message is the law sending out to children today? It’s okay to hit your mother? Angie Stone is Diamond mother, Diamond is not Angie’s mother. She can hit her mother and walk away? I would never raise my hands to my mother…my mother would have kicked my behind. Where is the respect for your parents? Diamond was in Angie’s house…if there was going to be charges Diamond should have been charged too! Angie, I’m sorry this happened to you, I will be praying for you and your daughter!

thing of the matter is no one learned anything from marvin gay murder by the hands of his dad , its rare a father or mother shoot a child .but people are just people family is just a word without the respect and love .. hardly anyone know what the word mother or father stands for , there is a line you dont cross and todays youngsters are raise totally different than me, my whole family would have jumped me if i hit or talk bad to my mother my uncles would have beat me sinceless, there was an element of fear instilled in children from back in the day … the struggle is on proof is our black boys getting killed , the cops expect them to be diffiecult and angry they know the home structure these boys were raised they know these boys have no fear or restraint and will fight a cop or kill him if they can get up on them uniform means nothing to a 22 yo ,who is angry , that is the truth bout how so many are killed .. sorry to be honest . .. . and this is no excuse for the cops bad judgment , but coupled with the black boys raising is gonna be a disaster ,,,, we have to raise our children a certain way …. i love the way nigerian raise their kids ,, they still whip them but they show love too … they make them go to church not sit up on the internet and those are the american black kids you see in college usually their parents are from other countries .. this is true black kids raised on american sole and parents not from africa … they are the ones in prison , ,house full of kids and struggling .. reckless and stupid ……. nigerians dont play they scare the hell out oftheir kids .. and they send them to public school with that scare ….. you dont ever hear bout any the dead black men dead being from another country or parent being from nigeria kenya , nirobe , ehtiopia, guana, any african continent … they rase them to respect police .. and when that cop look at that license and it has a african last name they let them go quick cause they know they were raised with respect them kids say yes sir to the police and are not gangster hoodrat like with a bad idea of freedom.

From what I can remember…Marvin Gaye father was a cross dresser and had issues himself. He abused his children especially Marvin…he was jealous of his son successful career. He also abused Marvin’s mother and Marvin wasn’t having that, also Marvin was on drugs heavy. The situation is very different…Angie Stone daughter was very disobedient and disrespectful.
