Solange Knowles‘ business partner and creative consultant, Armina Mussa, is in critical condition, after she was stabbed 10 times. According to Nola, “Arronesia Christophe, 26, was booked on charges of attempted second-degree murder after police say she stabbed 24-year-old Mussa outside a home in the 2200 block of N. Derbigny Street.”
According to records filed at Orleans Parish Criminal District Court, Christophe was apprehended at the scene of the crime at 7:03 p.m. on Wednesday by Officer Dominique Dejernette. Knowles, who attended Christophe’s first appearance at Orleans Parish Criminal Court on Thursday, tells Billboard she was not present at the scene of the crime; but as soon as she got word of the devastating news, she rushed to New Orleans and has been by Mussa’s side since.
Mussa, 24, is not only one of Knowles’ closest friends, but the project director of Solange’s brand and creative platform, Saint Heron. She is also a co-owner of New Orleans French Quarter boutique, Exodus Goods.
Just last month, Mussa was pictured with Knowles in Paris.
