Legendary rapper and producer Erick Sermon recently linked up with Joell Ortiz and Sheek Louch to shoot the music video for his new single, “Make Room.”

With the song being deemed “classic New York rap,” it seems fitting that the trio hit up an old railroad yard in the historic South Bronx for a gritty look that perfectly fits the aesthetic of the record.

“I wanted emcees that were going to represent. Sheek Louch did one of the best verses of his career,” said Sermon. “It showcases them and it showcases New York and it’s a big record. You can’t front on this. The beats, the rhymes the chorus, its a New York hip-hop record.”

Comedian and hip-hop personality Jack Thriller from MTV’s “Wild ‘N Out” made a cameo in the clip and Sermon also used the occasion to showcase his line of Def Rugs, with custom made rugs for both Sheek (D-Block) and Joell (SlaughterHouse).

“Make Room” is the first single off Sermon’s upcoming solo album, E.S.P. (Erick Sermon Perception),.which is due to hit stores in August.
