The 2015 Mid-Summer Bronner Bros. International Beauty Show, the country’s largest multicultural trade show, just closed on August 17 and was held at a new expanded location in the Georgia World Congress Center. This season’s show was definitely a good representation of the brand’s new direction.

Beauty industry legends like John Paul DeJoria co-founder and chairman of the board of Paul Mitchell Systems as well as Patric Bradley, Raven Key and Robert Cromeans were on hand to teach professional education courses and the exhibition hall was packed with 300 top-notch companies such as Paul Mitchell, Bigen, Andis, Design Essentials and FHI Heat.

Open exclusively to licensed beauty industry professionals and cosmetology students, the three-day professional beauty industry event featured star-studded evening events and eight high-profile competitions with cash prizes.

Check out the highlights in the gallery below from an exciting evening of comedy, hair, fashion and fun known as the Bronner Bros. After Dark Cut Party, an epic battle of the superstars of hair cutting and hair-design. It’s a competition that is a must-see and experience. The industry’s gladiators show off their prowess, artistry and valor. This theatrical showcase is met with cheers and applause and has audience members at the edge of their seats.

With spotlights projected onto four raised platforms evenly spaced out on the floor of a large hall and the hair fraternity in attendance, the atmosphere is nothing short of electric. Friends, well wishers, party people and the curious ones were captive during this showcase. Each platform had its own celebrity host whose role was to energize his star cutter while throwing shade at each other. The performing stylists’ energy was just as high as the audience.
