Shanti Das and Marlon Nichols continue to produce these wonderful events the second Tuesday of the month. Tops is the annual hip hop awards week edition where the planners get to take things back to the old school and you never know who’s going to show up to perform. Musicians including Teddy Riley, Devyne Stephens, Sean Garrett, Wayne Brady, and R Kelly have graced the stage. Lil Jon Roberts (drummer for Janet Jackson) even made a special point to come through before heading out to Honolulu on Janet’s next tour stop.
