Vice President, Diverse Markets
Fostering diversity within an organization or business is one of the most critical components necessary to thrive in a corporate environment. Jennifer Jones, AT&T Mobil-ity’s vice president of diverse markets, aims to decrease cultural assumptions by addressing the unique needs of all consumers — including persons with disabilities — through integrated marketing and planning programs. Since joining AT&T 27 years ago, Jones has held several leadership positions within the company, including ﬁnance, sales, marketing and offer management.
Her successful career didn’t blossom overnight and certainly wasn’t handed to her on a silver platter. The Detroit native graduated from the University of Michigan and Wayne State University with a bachelor’s in marketing. She also holds a marketing management certiﬁcate from the Harvard School of Marketing. In addition to her educational achievements, Jones served as a former ofﬁcer in the U.S. Army Reserve and is a Gulf War (Desert Storm) veteran.
