Stella J. Ringer joined The Coca-Cola Company 18 years ago. She recently moved to the North America content, entertainment and ventures team, where she serves as senior manager, entertainment marketing. In this role, Ringer partners with internal brand, customer and ﬁeld region teams to develop and execute music marketing strategies. She also manages the relation-ship with the largest multicultural music property, the Essence Music Festival. Before moving to the entertainment team, Ringer held the title of senior brand man-ager, multicultural marketing.
“A person’s core competencies can drive success professionally and personally. My consumer insights, strategic thinking, brand management and executional skills have not only allowed me to excel within my current role but within the Coca-Cola system as a whole. The skills I leverage daily as a marketer, are the same skills I lever-age in my community leadership roles as well. Extensive business experience coupled with education has been a win-win for me professionally and personally,” she says.
Not only is Ringer committed to her profession, she is active in her community serving on the board of trustees of The Agape Community Center. She is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc.
On being a woman of power, Ringer says, “In my opinion, power is inﬂuence. Being a powerful woman is using your inﬂuence to encourage others to live their best lives and to always be authentic.”
Ringer received a bachelor’s in communications from the University of Alabama, and earned her MBA from Kennesaw State University.
She lives in Lithonia, Georgia, and has been married to Al Ringer for 20 years. She and her husband diligently support the academic, athletic and musical activities of their 15-year-old son, Peyton.
